Where should the sign be mounted?
On the wall on the latch side of the door, with the tactile characters between 48 and 60 inches from the floor. Mounting the sign on the door itself is only allowed in specific cases, so use the wall when you can.
Will the adhesive hold on textured walls?
The industrial adhesive holds on painted drywall, tile, glass and smooth wood. On heavily textured surfaces, clean and dry the area first and press for 30 seconds.
